Bill Killon is a filmmaker located in the Champlain Valley of New York and Vermont.

Bill started Bannertree Films, a collaboration of creative individuals who have a passion for telling stories that center around the Adirondack region of New York and the Champlain Valley of New York and Vermont. In addition to the film Colvin - Hero to the North Woods, in 2019 Bannertree released When I Come Home, about five servicemen from the small town of Moriah, New York who were killed during the Viet Nam War. The films have screened regionally and broadcast on PBS.

Two new films are currently in production - Noah John Rondeau and The Portage.

Bill also makes films for cultural and environmental organizations. Clients include the Norman Rockwell Museum, The Bennington Museum, Teton County Historic Preservation Board, Vermont Master Naturalist, Bidwell House Museum and The Museum of the City of New York.
